Joint Account...Help Please

my finace and I are looking to open a joint account but are unsure what bank to go to or apply at considering she have entries on chexsystem. we were think MB Financial, does anybody know anybanks in the midwest that will allow me to be the primary and her secondary and it not affect us getting a joint account? She feels like this is soooo important to her. WOMEN

it really depends on what state you are in as far as what options are the best for you. MB Financial will deny you because of chexsystems ( unless her report is considerably good and you find someone willing to make an exception )

MB FINANCIAL will deny even though i'm the premiary and she secondary? I thought that only check the premiary chexsystem history? any suggestion? what about citibank?

there are a few banks that will only check the primary account holder but for the most part they check all the signers on the account

Citibank uses chexsystems and will sometimes open accounts and close them at a later time. Do you know what is on the report?
