Just found out I am being reported on check systems. I have a Chase bank account for 2 years now, they never mentioned it when i opened the account. But when i went to a local CU last month, they told me i was on check systems for an old BOA account, that I am sure i paid years ago. I received my report from check systems and it looks like the neg item will turn 5 years old in Sept of this year. Should i just wait? Can i send an obsolete letter? Should i try and have it removed?

I am moving back east in two weeks and there is no Chase banks where we are moving to. I dont want to stir the pot if it will just drop off soon, but if there is an easy way to have it removed earlier......
