Incredible - who trains these people - do they just make it up?

 

Pretty much. What training they do get is a joke. I hate going to that store. I'm so glad they are opening a Target right across the street from our local Wal-mart.

We even offered to step over to the ATM which happens to be outside of the credit union where our accounts are and pay with cash, but we were refused! I could have sworn that paper money says "legal tender" on it and can not be refused.

That's the part that got me... they wouldn't even allow them to pay with cash???? Unreal.

The blogger was incorrect when they said that cash cannot be refused, but the salamander employees were still being unreasonable.

The salamander cashier/staff must be fired/disciplined/retrained at once.

 

Never show ID for signed credit cards purchases.

 

No ID required for signed credit card purchases. Merchants cannot require ID.

 

If a merchant tries to require ID, immediately call 1-800-VISA-911 to ensure they never do again.

Check the box that says "Merchant required ID"
