That's what forced us into BK... took over 2 years for SS and the medical that goes with it to finally be approved - by then medical bills had gone to collections. None of the OCs would file the insurance - they told us it was already in collections and the CAs laughed at us and told us they didn't take insurance. The back medical did nothing for us except pay the hospital bills.
