My DH credit reports are full of negative student loan entries.

He consolidated them and entered into rehab program. He has been in rehab for maybe 9 - 12 months.

These entries are showing on all 3 bureau's (EFX/XPN/TU).

His scores are as follows:

EFX 578 XPN 533 TU 527

Will getting these removed help his score? If so, a little or a lot?

My question, can we do anything to delete the old tradelines showing which show as follows:

The new loan is showing and paid as agreed.

All input is appreciated. We are looking to purchase a vehicle in the next 2-3 months, using his credit as mine needs a lot more help.

Thanks

He didn't rehab.

He consolidated.

The baddies will be staying.

PS: looks like there were some private loans. Those probably were not included in the consolidation. FYI.

Nope. You have to rehab when you are in default. If he is in consolidation, his loan is current. Therefore he is NOT in rehab.

EFX 578 XPN 533 TU 527

Will getting these removed help his score? If so, a little or a lot?

None of these tradelines are eligible to be removed. They should be on there for 7 years from the claim paid date.

My question, can we do anything to delete the old tradelines showing which show as follows:
