I am wanting to know how I can get the OC to take off my CR the late payments. The late payments were due to my misunderstanding, thinking my loans were all deferred while they were being consolidated. Stupid I know. Hind sight is 20/20 right! I have not been late since they were consolidated. But I am Sure the OC doesn't care I have paid the new company on time!

I know I need to write the OC letters but I need some direction in what to say to them. Please Help!

You will likely have very little luck with a goodwill letter, but I guess you could try it. There should be an example of one in the Letters forum.

Should I ask for a Validation first since I do not remember the dates of anything, the lates were listed as "60days February 2001" or should I just do the goodwill thing.

Ask the OC to validate??? If they are paid off, they will simply "file" your request.
