I submitted a HIPAA payment to the hospital that was listed as CFC as the CA.

 

I have never had any contact with them prior to today.

 

They called on my cell phone (not sure how they got that one) and as soon as the message that "they had an important message for me" started, I hung up.

 

My first thought was to fire of a limited C&D, but then realized that by doing that I would invalidate the whole HIPAA process.

 

I'm on my way now to see if that check has cleared the bank.

 

Boy, they are sneaky!
