This email came to me from the Student Loan Justice.org site.

We are working with a reporter named Anya Kamenetz. She is a freelance reporter in New York that does top notch work in publications including New York Magazine, and the Village Voice. She is looking for real people who are willing to have their records pulled so that the path from their original debt to the current state can be shown.

I think If you were in the New York Area, that would be a plus, but it is by no means required.

Her Email is: akamenetz@VillageVoice.com

She is on a tight deadline...and is hoping to have it together by Friday. If you are interested in having your story told, please email her at your earliest convenience-

Fight on-

Board admin has confirmed that this is a legitimate request from a reporter, therefore we have decided to allow it.

HOWEVER, if in the future there is something like this that a member would like to post, please be sure to contact me or the admin staff to get approval.

Pauper - you were given a second chance, but based on your continued attempts to get this post seen, despite the decision of admin, you're walking a VERY thin line. You'd do best to play by the rules, to which I've already referred you, before you're put on indefinite moderator preview, where your posts will sit until I have time to decide if they should be seen by the general membership.

This is your LAST chance to play nicely in my sandbox, got it?

I've posted in other threads here about working with reporters, and that's true. Fortunately, we've worked with Anya before. She's good! Feel free to contact her if you have a story to tell.

We do like to check out the reporter's creditentials prior to posting, but once we know they're OK, we fully support their efforts. They can do more with one paragraph than we can do with years of filing complaints.
