I'm a newbie....can someone please tell me what HIPAA stands for. I've been searching arount and can't find the answer

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

 

There is some information about it in the Psychdoc transcripts on the main credit form page. I would recommend reading Whychats site about the legal basis of HIPPA.
