On or around 1/11/2005, I noticed on my MyFico Credit Reports for Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, there was a Collection Account for "Credit Protections Association." Here's my timeline for dealing with this issue:

I can tell you from my experience that the 1-2 punch really works. :):yahoo:

So it seems like credit Protections Association wasn't able to protect itself from the almighty 1-2 punch that CB has taught me. I would like to thank CB, past and present for your help. I would like to also spark a light of hope among the newbies of CB that the 1-2 punch really works.

I will keep you updated what happens with Equifax and TransUnion.

I'm soooo glad you posted this as I was sending a DV letter to C.P.A. after work. This has been helpful and inspirational to myself. So thank you, I will reference this for my progress. And now to do the self-serving bump so it's easier for me to find. :yahoo:

They say they don't delete accounts. But I don't need them to because I hit them with a 1-2 punch and the CRAs deleted it for them. Checked EX today, and its gone. TU and EQ already got rid of them. who hoooooooooooo
