Trouble with BofA and Chexsystems

Hi, i was wonderind if anyone had the same problem i am having with BofA and Chexsystem?

 

I paid of a negative account i had with BofA on Sept. 08, 2008 and till this day they havent updated Chexsystem nor sent me a letter on that account been paid off. Spoke with customer service and they just sent today the 23 of Sept a notification to Chexsystems that i paid this account.....

 

Any ideas on how to speed this bank and checxstems?

That sounds normal for Bank Of America. Also keep in mind that they report will notbe removed but only updated showing as paid and most banks will still deny you based on the report

Try calling 1-888-208-4927 and asking them to either update the listing or remove it.

 

BOA is going to remove my Chex listing once they receive payment.

I sure hope they remove you but many banks lie and say they will remove but they do not. I would get it in writing.
