I'm not positive if this is new information but I remember searching if you can sign up for creditsecure as an authorized user and the answer was no. So I thought I would share how I was able to sign up for it only being an AU.

When I was made an AU on my wife's AMEX and I went to activate the card, they had me create a new login. I never saw a place to sign up for creditsecure when I signed up or anywhere on the site when I was logged in. However I saw an ad for it and figured I would try. When signing up through this link.

It gives you an option to login to your existing login. I used my authorized user sign on and it let me sign up for it!

Much better then having to deal with MPM to reactive my account for this B* cycle.

It seems certain credit products allow it and others do not. For example... I'm an AU on my husband's Gold card and his Costco card... I was able to sign up for my own login account with the Gold card but not the Costco card. And within my account for the Gold card I was able to sign up for CS. I can't even add the Costco card to my existing account where I have the Gold card registered.

Romance, call AmEx directly.

Sometimes they have to manually associate the account.

All the accounts you are an AU on, SHOULD be visible from one login ID.

I'd call, because dh is AU on my Costco Amex and he created his own account online. I didn't even know he had access it until I saw a payment he made.

Well I don't need it... so, its not a problem. But, I was able to set up my CS account in my online account for my Gold card... so, good enough for me. ;) But thanks for the info.
