No I haven't applied for a Cap1 card in over 6 years, but I have opened up a Chase Freedom and an AMEX Delta Gold card in the last 6 months. Funny enough, I keep getting a CLI denial with my current Cap1 card because they said my monthly payments were too low, even though my balance is paid off after having carried a balance for over 5 years. I got this card years ago when I first started building my credit so I think this might be one of those hard coded ones to never go above a certain CL even though my credit is excellent now with my highest limit being $25,000.

Hi Everyone, I hope somebody can answer this question but does anyone know if I am eligible for the 75,000 signup bonus on the Capital One Venture card if I currently have the Venture ONE card? I never applied for the Venture ONE card, it was upgraded to that from my platinum card about 2 years ago.

$150 Cashback with New Chase Freedom Credit Card Approval
glacious replied to foeplay's topic in Credit Forum
Sounds like a good offer to me. I've been denied every time I've applied for this card though. Discover rejected me twice though before finally giving me a chance so maybe I'll give it another shot with Chase. -
Hey guys, I've been wondering if anyone has managed to get a CLI on their BB RZMC in the last 6 months. I've tried but the reps keep telling me that HSBC has suspended all CLI's on all of their accounts. It's been a year since my last CLI and I feel like I will have to wait several more for them to start giving CLI's again.

I just got a CLI last week on my True Earnings card. I was also one of the ones that got hit and went from $2000 to $500. About 6 months ago I called and was bumped up from $500 to $1500 and now I went from $1500 to $4500. Seems like you can't request more than 3 times your current CL.

I've been trying for a while now to get a CLI but everytime HSBC still says that they are not accepting CLI's at the moment, either customer reuqested or auto. So has anyone managed to get one despite this?

Hey guys, just wanted to know if anyone has managed to get a CLI with no hard pull on either there Macys, Sears or Citi card. It's been 6 months since my last one and now whenever I call I get asked for all of my info and they tell me they will need to pull a hard from now on, no matter what.

HSBC is no longer granting CLI's any any card for any reason until further notice.

Cap One back to doing credit line reviews April first
glacious replied to cl00686's topic in Credit Forum
I seriously hope this wasn't some April Fool's gag set up before hand. I really want an increase on my Cap One. -
If all else fails, Google Chrome.

BofA from what I have read is notoriously difficult to deal with. If they have already agreed to take 70% of what you owe, chanes are they will not agree to anything else.

I have the card. The rewards program is not good. But, BMW bank is another lender which adds to a diversified credit profile and during this time that is one perk. The obvious perk is that you should have the card if you are a BMW enthusiast - just because That'd be enough reason for me. What vehicle did you get, OP? Congrats on the approval/new card/new car. Thanks. I was leasing and 08 328i sedan with just iPod integration, but I turned it in and got a CPO 07 328i with premium package. Worked out for me because I didn't want to keep my car since it was in an accident, I had one year left and was already over the allowed mileage. In my opinion, theres pretty much no difference between an 07 and 08 328i. As for the card, I generally only use the card if it has good rewards. If that's not the case, chances are its going in the drawer. Wierd thing is I had Experian frozen, so they pulled Transunion but the finance guy said I had to remove the freeze on Experian because BMW's new policy is to ONLY pull Experian. I was surprised that my score on Experian was higher than my other 2. Congrats on the car. Though I'm curious: If their new policy is to only pull EX, why did they pull your TU before they asked you to remove the freeze? That's what I was thinking. I think he said they pulled it just to pre-approve me for the time being, but they still wanted to see Experian. No big deal though. I had no inquiries on TU and almost all of my experian IQ's are going to drop off this year.

Hey guys, I just turned in my leased car today and opted to finance a CPO BMW. Thanks to this board and learning how to manage credit wisely, I was approved with an Experian FICO score of 762. I was pretty shocked but very happy. When I came by the dealership to drop off the extra key, the person in the finance department told me that I had also been approved for the BMW VISA, all I had to do was accept it. I don't need anymore cards however I figured what the hell and said yes. Does anyone here have this card? If so, what are the perks to using it as opposed to other cards?

Had it been 3 months since your last CLI or 6 months or longer? Macys was good with CLI's every 3 months but now I was told the wait is 6 months.
