What is considered a closet? Does it have to be built in or can a wardrobe be considered a closet for appraisal sake? A wardrobe attached to the wall?

My husband and I want to do a refi to consolidate some bills. What is the best LTV out there right now and who has it?

So my husband will have one 30 day late on Navcheck. Will be paying that off tomorrow..so it will be 32 days late. How will that hurt his scores? He only has one other one from 4ish years ago. Tomorrow we will be paying off a lot of credit/loans with a home equity loan. We have two cc's that are closed. Will it help much to pay them off? Or should we pay down a few that are open that are maxed? We are wanting to build a house...so trying to figure out the best way to get the best out of the money that we have to pay off some bills..to get the best score for a construction loan.

My husband just recv'd a 30 day late on Navcheck. I'm going to pay the balance off tomorrow. Any chance they will remove a 30 day late mark? If so..how to do it and who to contact? How many pts will this drop his scores? He had one on another account about 4 years ago. Besides that he has perfect credit.

Do navy? They offer score watch? Did i miss the memo?

Some creditors will add you as a joint holder instead of an au. Thats better if they will. I haven't seen a mortgage company deduct points for au. It would the the company they pull the tri-merg from that does that..and the one we use doesn't. so ymmv.

Well it's not a remodel...wrong choice of words....it's a 2k sqft addition to our house making it almost 5k sqft. We used credit to build it because my dh wanted to do the work but if we got a construction loan we would have to get a contractor. Anyway..that was a stupid thing to do because now we can't get a re-fi done to pay the credit off because the scores have tanked. Well, Citi Financial would do it..at 11%...thats looking good at this point. Anyway, I will send the documents from the bank to Penfed along with my appeal.

Our fico's were in the 700's when we got the card..but because of the remodel they dropped. There was one 30 day from Home Depot..but that was bank error and it was removed from two reports but still waiting for eq to remove. Even then we do have high util..but that wasn't the reason they gave me. The csr said because of a derog on another account. I understand where they are coming from. Its just that closing those two accounts will hurt the scores even worse since they have a balance. I'll send them an appeal and see what happens.

So..logged on today and found that my gold and cash rewards cards have been closed! I called and the csr said due to a derog on another creditor they closed the accounts...but we can re-apply later. This happen to anyone else?

Hmm. May be. It's in the same building as the Melting Pot (I think) and Chen's Bistro...across from the hospital..and Shoneys.

Razzoo's on Concord Mills Blvd is good. If you go downtown Charlotte...on a Friday.. Red's BBQ has a wagon type deal they park beside the Omni..IMO they have the best bbq. House of Taipei is awesome if you like that kinda food. They use to be in the university area..not sure about now. I hear they opened an Omaha Steakhouse in Charlotte...anyone been? I miss home (Harrisburg).

...and cell phones..and the internet.....I could go on..
