  1. I just saw this post. Thank you for this information. I've gotten a couple calls from 877-219-0867 today and yesterday and when I google it also says this number is from them. Funny thing is, I have a cap one card but it's current and fairly new. I've never had one in the past. Do they collect for anyone else or strictly for cap one?
  2. i think the idea of not showing your id is to prevent people from memorizing your license number and stealing your identity. which makes sense.
  3. So has anyone actually refused to show their ID when asked? Curious to know how that went over with the merchant that asked for it.
  4. so did you close your account he hacked into?
  5. yup, got the same email yesterday. no biggie though. they've done what i needed them to do.
  6. I bet the new address is a bigger hurdle than the time since applying... If you are using forwarding, I'd let them use the old address and update it when you get the card to avoid issues. or...could i do this? when calling for a recon give them my old addy (if asked) then if approved, ask them to update the address to my new one? i'd hate to have a new credit card get lost in the mail due to forwarding. just a thought...
  7. cool..thanks guys. just moved so now i have to find the denial letters in one of the many boxes i have left to unpack.
  8. lol! Dyslexia ftw!!
  9. I went on a mini spree back in April and got a few denials that I'd like to get cards for. Is it too late to do recons since it's been a month and a half or so?
  10. don't know your situation but thought i'd link you to this write up stryker did about pfd. http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=338769
  11. Does anyone have a mailing address for Capital Management? I did a google search and couldn't find it. I just got a phone call at work from them. Not sure what it's regarding. First phone call and no letters yet. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. Do you remember how long it took for them to report on your report? unfortunately i don't remember. i want to say it was within the first or second billing cycle of him adding me but i'm not 100% for sure on that.
  13. i've been an AU on my husbands WAMU for well over a year and it is reporting. i'm also an AU on his BofA cards, AMEX, and NASA cards.
  14. "To the top" meaning bringing your thread to the first page so people can see it.
