  1. Did they send you a letter telling you they were decreasing your limit or was it just noted online. I apologize for asking what may seem like a dim question, but are you sure it wasn't just your available credit was 2900? If the PC was 2100, that deducted from your 5K limit would leave you about 2900 as available credit.
  2. Curious was it your 1st purchase? Also, how much was the computer? Just curious about what percent of the original credit limit the purchase was for.
  3. +1 I've used it quite a bit at a local computer/electronics store and at Buy.com. Never had any issues with using it at the merchants or with RevolutionCard. I used mine the day it came in the mail to buy a a high end DSLR camera. I got a phone call later in the evening wanting to verify I made the purchase. I think they've been very good so far.
  4. I've been told the max for the card is 750.00 (my limit). It must be based on some kind of tier when you first applied.
  5. I canceled when they sent out the email at the end of April...
  6. I went through the same thing thought I was nuts. lol After 7 days you can pull everyday. I was able to pull after the fourth day (I used to be a customer last year though) so you may want to check every day or so until the option to pull a new report shows up.
  7. Some may think that they will just close the account instead of replacing the credit card I received a Chase logo card for both my Wamu cards about a month ago. Neither were near their expiration dates and I didn't request the replacements. Same account numbers. Maybe they are automatically sending them out on some kid of schedule...
  8. I noticed MicroCenter accepts this card so I applied today. Instant approval. 5K limit.
  9. One possible way of small limits hurting: Utilization is a significant part of your score. If you have a small limit, then you are more likely to present a higher utilization percent when you use the card. A charge of 75.00 on a 150.00 CL is 50% utilization. That would impact your score.
  10. Got my email this morning. Wasn't (isn't) NCIP a Transunion product? Did they remain a daily puller? Thanks.
  11. I agree, $19.95 is a little steep. Well I still have a money of CIP until the change, so I guess I have a month to decide. Anyone else get an email from CIP yet? I haven't received one -yet, but went ahead and signed up for CCT yesterday. I was able to get it for 9.95 right off the bat. I had CCT last year when you could pull multiple times a day. When they changed to once a day I cancelled - too expensive for once a day. When I tried to sign up for 19.95 yesterday, I couldn't - it wanted to allow me the priveledge for 29.95. I called the 866 number and spoke to a friendly CSR and explained I wanted to sign up for 19.95. She said she would give it to me for 9.95... She said she could only get it approved for 6 months but was noting my account. If it went up to 19.95 she said to call back and it would be lowered back to 9.95/mo. I thought that was pretty cool of her to do that.
  12. To the OP and others who have received the email - when is your billing date? I haven't received an email from them but my billing date is around the 10th. Just curious how they were dolling out the notifications. Thanks .
