So clicked on the NBTF 0% for 12 mos purch/Bt and to my dismay got the 30 day message ..... They called the next day to verify some info and voila ... got the card ... I even have until March to do any 0% Fee BT's, the only problem is only a 5500 limit ..... But pleasantly surprised to get it ... They pulled EQ also which was surprising 709 EQ FICO

Any way to get mortgage with unpaid judgement?
Bloody but Unbowed replied to robman123's topic in Mortgages
Im not a professional, however I would think your issue would be that the judgement could be pressed against you after the purchase of the house and a lien placed on your property. So no would be your answer. On another note, unfortunately your attorney didnt think ahead when giving you advice, he gave you advice on the issue at hand based on the status at the time, however didnt really allow for changes in the future. Selling stuff for cash, want it to go toward closing..
Bloody but Unbowed replied to jp1985's topic in Mortgages
+1 for the use cash for expenses and leave paychecks alone. Another thing with ours was we got mixed up on the value and closing date/time/amount got changed 2x so our attorney let us just bring the money later, ymmv though as always -
You should probably start at your credit union if you have a particular car picked out. With your scores and credit history that should follow it shouldnt be too difficult however you will encounter resistance as you dont have any significant installment history of that kind of money (25k+). Although the student loans will help, they may not quell the concerns in your credit decisions. How about you use Marv's application, let him know everything that your looking for (i.e. car, payment, debt-to-income ratio, etc... ) and then others can help you more. Is this car privately owned or you can get it anywhere? Try the FAQ's they will answer quite a bit of your initial questions GL

Try progressive, I believe they offer it. As far as the dealers go, I think there is quite a bit of markup in it, but I probably would not want to be without it. Another question, a previous poster said you can cancel it when you break even, say you wanted to do this is it usually allowed and do you get a refund or at least a prorated one? (Kinda directed to Marv or another F&I person that may know)

Also as far as the judgement, if it is paid it may be easier than trying to get it off (depends on the amount and whether you are willing to pay it to get a house) I bought my home with a couple judgements on my report (dumb mistakes from back in college) Good Luck

Im so sorry to hear that. I have a new construction also and that was one of my biggest fears as for the first month or so it was just our stuff that we had purchased for the home there (i.e. plasma tv's, fridge, home theatre stuff etc...) and didnt have an alarm, not that it will stop someone from getting the stuff but may make them move on to another target. Also another thing to consider, get an alarm with a cellular backup as thieves will cut your phone cord then the alarm will never go off. Worst case, get the sign for the front of the yard, unless they are going to go anyway, most thieves (like the ones you probably encountered) are going to go for easier prey and will not actually look in the house to see if you have an alarm or not.

I know, I know Thats what I was thinking -
What bank are you working with, I know BOA didnt repull for 120 days and said that was their general practice. You may want to buy FICO's for the 2 reports you can (use the link on this site and discount code) it will cost you ~24 bucks and you will know in general what your midscore is and may alleviate some of your concerns (or make them worse) GL

Your tax refund is scheduled to be direct deposited on May 7, 2010. If your refund is not credited to your account by May 12, 2010, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until May 12, 2010 before you contact us again because we are unable to take any action until then. So: Mailed Apr 13th Updated May 3rd to be sent June 1st Updated May 6th to be deposited May 7th We are blessed and thankful. For VS and JChimpo dont lose the faith I think it will update again as other posters (and ours) did. Did you send in your HUD-1 copy with your return, we have a mainly simple return with only 1 dependent and standard deductions. I also sent in an original signed copy with mine. (Our attorney had the builder and DW and I sign 6 copies 2 to file, 2 to seller, 2 to us) so I sent in the original. Dont know if it matters. Oh we are also first time buyers and our sale and deed was recorded the first week of March after settlement Feb 26th. Good Luck
