I just received a generic validation response from Blatt, Hasenmiller, Leibsker & Moore. I'm really not sure where to go from here and would appreciate any help. Pursuant to your request for verification information we are hereby replying with the following verification of debt: Original creditor information: hsbc Date of last purchase or service: Merchant name: hsbc Date of last payment: 04/25/08 Balance due: 795.17 Additional information: This account was opened on 05/28/03 and charged off on 10/31/08. I sent them a Validation letter last week and just received this today. This account was bought by LVNV Funding and sent to Blatt. From reading the stickies I made a validation letter asking for copies of the agreement, signature, statements, etc. I've been thru all the validation letters and just get confused with all the different examples. SOL won't work as it's not 5 years. Not sure how I should attack this now? Any help again would be appreciated.

Thanks for the post. Didnt notice the change. Just called and canceled and got a song and a dance and another song. This dude did not want me to cancel. Kept on going off about identity theft and I'm going to be sorry for canceling. After 5 minutes of bickering I told him to cancel my account of give me his supervisor. After saying that, he apologized for not explaining the service to me correctly and rattled off my confirmation number and hung up.

They deleted mine on TU a couple days ago. Somethings going on but I'm not complaining.

I also noticed that privacy guards phone number on the website is 1-877-202-8828. The one in the email that wants you to call is 1-877-707-2064.

Well we finally got it figured out. Cap one endorsed the check wrong. For some reason they signed it bank of america and it got returned to them. They really messed up because they dont have the title, and no money. They sent it to dcu before it cleared I guess. This would explain why dcu was confused why they had the title. The check was returned to cap one, so they never activated our account on our loan. Cap one also called me today asking for a payment. I had to laugh at them, told them they dont even have the title and the account is paid in full on my credit report. The guy said your right sorry.

The problem is they have no record of my account for a loan. They dont have any record of the check being cashed or us having a auto loan with them. Thats why she was confused why she had our title. We told her we applied for a loan and got the check from them, they say they have no record even though we used there check to pay it off. Dcu said if they cant find any info on us they will send the title back to capital one who would than probably send it back to us.

A couple months ago we refinanced thru dcu for our auto loan. Took them forever to finally get us the check, daily calls, different people, paper work getting lost, etc. Finally got it and sent it off to capital one, check cleared and loan payed off. Thought everything is going fine. Our payment with dcu is supposed to be on the 20th and this is the first month of our new payment "still waiting for payment book". Today my wife gets a call from dcu and she says she doesnt know why but she has our title for our van. She has no record of our account, or check. Dcu is going to do some checking around and if they cant find anything there going to send us our title monday. Anyone have anything like this happen before. I know it sounds like free van but I dont want it to come back and bite us in the you know what. My wife told dcu about the problems getting the check from them so we are not denying that its not our loan. Any help would be great. I just dont want a payment or something later on for the full amount.

Had a bk in 01 with chase included. While trying to clean up my report, "trying not mine" chase has changed it from a iib to a charge off on equifax. Disputed to equifax that it was iib and just got the results saying chase has said its being reported correctly. I guess now I'm going to have to go after chase. Not sure but I think they are not reporting correctly and should delete it right? Should I call chase or anyone have a idea on a letter to send to chase? Thanks for any suggestions.

I know you cant negotiate the price of the car at car max as far as I know. But are what about the other fee's they throw on? Dealer prep, destination charge, etc? Are you able to do any dealing with this? Going to look at a grand caravan again this weekend that we liked, and just wanted to know what that final price will be. Thanks for any replies.

I sent a procedual request to TU for a bk and just received there response. I got the previsously verified and frivolous letter. Not sure where to go from here? In the letter they just list the address of the court, is that there procedual info? Or did they not bother to do anything? I read about people sending a letter to the clerks office asking if they were contacted by a cra. Should I try that way or go after TU for not sending the info I requested? Thanks.

Your in the right place. Read, read, and read here. Alot of info here for free. If your not sure ask, I'd say most of the questions here get some type of answer. You say your report is messy? Did you get your 3 reports from trans union, equifax, and experian? What's exactly wrong?
