  1. I've been is biz since June of 2006. I obtained duns in Feb 2007 and currently have 4 tradelines reporting. My EX still reports nothing or should i say "Unavailable" ... I dont know what to do. I have Uline, Nebs, Quill, DHL, Sprint, Staples net 30, and OfficeDepot net 30. How can I get EX to report!?
  2. Good info here. I dont mean to hijack but I have a question along the same lines. My Duns report is reporting 4 tradelines which is good but it also reports a "past due" of $750 which I have no idea what it represents. All of my net 30 accounts, phone bills, and etc are current. How can I find out who is reporting this and should I dispute?
  3. Hey JD. I believe no one is responding because no one knows what your goals are (as far as you "growing" your biz and biz credit is concerned) .. they are different for everyone. Considering the stats, I would wait until you get a paydex to apply for anything big. It takes 5 tradelines to receive a paydex score from DnB. Once you have your paydex, I would then go for the citi bank triio.
  4. Yeah, I figured something was fishy, just didnt smell right. Good work detectives! Thanks a bunch.
  5. Ok, so I get my mail yesterday afternoon and receive a transmission from a company called the NCRC (Nat'l Company Register Corp.). In the mailer it states my business name, address, type of biz, date of incoporation, tax ID (which is horribly incorrect), etc and a message in bold letters saying: Please pay the whole amount of $587.00 within 14 days. Make Payment in US dollars to National Companies Register Corp. I'm thinking to myself, who the hell are these guys and WHY do I owe them 600 bucks. As I read a little bit further through the mailer, towards the middle of the page it reads: This is a SOLICITATION you are under NO OBLIGATION to pay the amount below unless you accept this offer So who are these guys and what experiences have you had with this company!? Thanks.
  6. Thanks Don. You think I should go ahead with the Recon or just wait and reapply?
  7. Hello all. I applied for the Exxon Gas card 2 weeks ago and yesterday recieved a letter from them saying they couldnt verify my business. Hmmm...I have one reporting to DnB, I have a land-line thats listed in all the major databases, and I have been approved for $4k revolving for Staples and HD (they could verify my biz info). Anyways, the letter also states the I'd have to PG for further consideration. Has anyone tried RECON with Exxon? What is the number for their underwriters or for reconsideration? Thanks in advance.
  8. Hey guys, just a little input from my side. I've been building credit since mid-February. The only net 30 accts I have is Quill, Nebs & DHL, which of course I paid in full when the invoice arrived. First week of March I applied for FedEx/Kinkos, Staples and Office Depot...I was approved for Staples & OD revolving for $4K each, with nothing reporting...FE/Kinkos called my a couple weeks ago to "verify" biz info but I havent heard anything else from them since. To date, I only have Quill reporting a net 30 on D&B as I'm waiting on Staples and OD to report. Question...is Staples the only one (revolving/net 30) who reports to EX, who else? Where do I go to check my EX Biz account...how much is it?? Sorry about hijacking the thread Don. I believe D&B has given you a raw deal. Truth is, I'm awaiting to apply for the same cards you are after I acquire some add'l TL's. I tried applying for Amazon & Exxon and they said my D&B was "blank" or "couldnt verify biz info" also but when I check eupdate it reports my Quill net 30...crazy ish!
  9. What are your stats? Do you have a fed tax id for your company, if not, get one!
  10. Hey yall. I'm a Residential Appraiser her in Cincinnati. I've been doing appraisals since '97 (apprenticed under my Grandfather), licensed in 2001, and started my own company, e-Valuation Services of Cincinnati LLC, in June of '06.Work is slow right now, as it is always begining of the year, it generally picks up in spring/summer with refinances andl all, but I love appraising properties. You see some strangest things in peoples houses like indoor growing rooms with so called "tomato plants" haha. Wheww..thats a strong tomato! I never understood why someone wouldnt clean-up, wash the dishes, vacuum, light an incence *giggles*, when you KNOW a stranger is coming to evaluate your house...but people are strange like that. On the other hand I've seen some of the most spectacular river views, home theatres, inground/indoor pools, master bedrooms, and gourmet kitchens you'd ever think of. Nothing beats working from home, setting your own schedule, the freedom of the road, and being able to play with my daugher in the morning...Priceless! I'm looking to expand into home inspection, investing, and real estate sales in the near future. I've also been playing with the idea of creating a e-bay biz...people will buy just about anything with the right motivation. Bottoms up!
  11. Hello all. I want to buy a house. I am self employed and have low credit scores 545-570 range. I made around $30K last year. I have collection counts on all my credit reports and most of them are student loan related. What options do I have for financing? What new home buyer programs should I research. Anyone know of down payment assistance. I figure that I'd go FHA, for it seems like they do most of the lending to new homeowners with lower scores. I'm in the beginning stages of DV right now and expect my scores to rise in the next 3 months. Real Estate Professionals, home owners, loan officers, please chime in. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  12. Congradulations! Curious though, what are your personal scores? I was going to wait (my personal scores suck) until I developed some history with my biz before I applied with Dell.
  13. I just applied with Exxon, got the "call back" code, and was told that they couldnt find much info about my biz. She continued to explain that she need me to PG in order to be considered. This really burns me up yall...I mean I've had D&B since mid Feb (not sure whats reporting), have ordered and paid Nebs & Quill, approved for 20 lines with Sprint(got 2 treos and have paid the complete balance already), and I've just been approved with Staples ($4000) and OD ($4000). The last I heard OD is a citi account, so what gives!?!? Any advice?
