I think you hit the nail on the head. I wonder if OP's husband didn't have enough food as a kid? He probably feels secure in knowing there's tons of food and that he and his family won't go hungry. I wished it was as simple as that. He comes from a large Rich family so I know they had more than enough. We are not as Rich as his family and can't afford $1200 a month on his choices of food. There is not logic to any of this but I have to figure out something soon.

Buy one get one free is ruining my life. Every Friday my husband gets the sales flyer and goes to every supermarket that having buy one get one free and whatever is buy one get one free. He buys things that no one in this house wants but its buy one get one free. Every Friday we have the supermarket (s) fight and he still does it. I thought by buying the things he likes in bulk and making sure it was always here for him that it would stop the buy one get one free things. It didn’t make even a small difference. I think he is addicted to buy one get one free if that’s possible. The thought of having to through food away makes my blood boil. Sometimes I have to cook enough food for a week in one day just to keep it from going bad. We have a chest freezer and a new refrigerator. His solution to the problem is to buy another refrigerator and an upright freezer so we can store even more stuff. I’m at my breaking point with this. A lot of the stuff he is buying (buy one get one free) is not cheaper than buying in bulk so he’s just waiting money anyway. Even the kids are fed up with having to eat things they don’t like because dad had another buy one get one free moment. A lot of the foods he is buy is prepackage frozen dinners and processed foods. My kids won’t eat that. I thought all of my boys to cook we avoid eating fast foods and foods with a lot of unidentifiable ingredients. Prior to changing professions my husband was a gourmet chef which explains the 98 bags of pasta. I need to find a way to make this real to him. It’s almost as if he doesn’t notice all the food everywhere and the amount of money that’s being spent. I was thinking of putting together a detailed inventory of what we have, all of it, so that he can see in black and white what’s here. I am looking for some type of software to help me make an inventory of what’s here.

Example I have on hand: 21 boxes of cereal 98 bags or boxes of pasta 5 different types of onions 8 different types of bread 5 different types of potatoes etc It's just too much stuff and I need to figure out how to manage it all and find a happy medium before I go bankrupt.

My husband usually purchases that and he buys so much and so many different kinds that it does go bad.

I shop for groceries 2-3 times per year. I buy in bulk so the cost to feed a family of 5 is around $45 per week. My husband likes to shop for groceries 1-2 per week spending an average of $300 - $350 per week. My home looks like a food warehouse. We do not need to spend $1200 per month on food. One of the problems is that he is buying things we already have because there is so much food here that it’s impossible to keep up with what we already have. I have food in my garage, living room, kitchen and family room. This has been a constant battle between my husband and me. We are a multicultural family but I buy foods that everyone will like but he still feels the need to spend a fortune on groceries every week. If I allow him to do the grocery shopping the kids complain because he buys junk that no one will eat so I end up having to buy groceries on top of the garbage that he buys. I need a way to keep track of what we already have, some type of inventory program to help me keep track of what we have on hand. Thanks

I noticed another pattern with AR's. Most of my CC companies are doing AR's monthly but in the months of November and December they were doing multiple AR's. I know my spending didn't trigger these because I didn't use any of my credit cards for November or December. The months that I added new accounts there is no difference in the amount of AR's. I added several new account last month and the AR's have not increased.

I've had this card for almost a year and my card has no annual fee.

In my area good tenants are pretty scares so if you have a tenant that has been paying on time I would give them a LITTLE more time. Not everyone has a savings to fall back on. They could be going through hard times right now. The neighbor is telling you what they think they see I wouldn’t disregard what they are saying but I wouldn’t consider it the absolute truth either. I would post a notice on the door giving the tenant 7 days to pay the amount owed plus the late fee or vacate the property. If the tenant does pay the rent I would let them know that because they didn’t keep their word and return with the additional rent that the late fee would be enforce from now on. Also, a $35 late fee is a little low. I’m my area the late fees are around $150 to $250. If you decide to renew their lease I would consider charging a higher late fee.

so how much does 5 new cards and 7 new inquiries affect your credit

I'm not so worried about the drop to my credit scores. I'm worried about being ratejacked, credit limit decreased or my accounts closed because of the new account. Oh well, I can't take it back now I'll just have to wait and see. -
