Corrected that for ya.....

Same here... I closed my US Air card and will give the Emigrant card a year before I dump it. Juny is definitely not my friend.
-
No dice on my Emigrant after 8 months......by far my lowest card. Hell, I was fully intending to close my Orchard because of the AF due in two months. They gave me a $100 CLI and told me to call back next month about the AF. Sad day when Orchard works with you more than Juniper.

Midland Not Responding To DV Letter Via CMRRRR

Yea, sent a DV out to Midland for my girlfriend and it was returned unsigned....... When are they gonna learn how to play by the rules???? -
Your thoughts on National City Bank (unecured cards)

Just received my Everyday Rewards card a few weeks ago. Guessing my TU FICO was around 720. Got a nice $12,500 CL. My highest card yet. YMMV........ -
AMEX HAS NOT TOUCHED ANY OF MY ACCTS YET thread
RoadtoSuccess replied to Mark LA's topic in Credit Forum
Two cards, both just under a year now. No problemo! Of course, I've been careful not to ask for that $25,000 CLI either...... -
I'd close your old Orchard card. Not worth the AF anymore. I wouldn't have even applied for a second.....but you did get much better terms.
-
To the best of my knowledge, WaMu does NOT accept CLI requests...... Always auto.....
-
Oh...... AMEX gonna be jealous now..... $12500 CL!!!!
-
Agreed. BUT... How many people on this board were able to obtain better cards (that they otherwise would not have had a chance in h3|| of qualifying for) due to Orchard issuing them a card. I for one, would still have nothing. Orchard is an ultra sub-prime lender. They aren't in the business of high limit/low apr cards. They serve their purpose. I'm only speaking for myself here, though im sure there are plenty of others like me... When I signed up with Orchard, my credit was awful. And who's fault was that? Mine. I didn't deserve anything more than what they gave me. And frankly, given my history, I didn't really even deserve that. Thanks to them I have now qualified for cards that I NEVER would be able to get today had I not built up good credit history with my Orchard card. And now that I've graduated to better cards, I'll close my Orchard card before the next AF hits. Now, I am not in the business of defending Orchard or preaching about what a wonderful lender they are. But for those who really want a new start, and an opportunity to prove their credit-worthness, they are a godsend. And there are plenty worse.. First Premier and Tribute come to mind. Excellent point. Great card for its' purpose, then time to move on.

I don't have a current, but would guess it to be around 720 now. I was finally able to knock down the inquiries. Seems like AMEX's CS works a lot faster than TC ever did.
-
Finally had TU bumped to zero and had been app free for four months.......then I fell off the wagon.......but in a good way! Instant approval, but they didn't give me the CL
-
Lowes was hard for me. With Lowes, they may offer a "pull free", no hard or soft, GLI. If you want more than that they'll pull hard. You must be calling, instead of using the online luv button.......
-
WaMu does not do CLI (on request)........pulls soft on review. Lowes is a soft (any GEMB product for that matter.....) Cap1 was a soft for me (when I used the magic number (do search))
