No, it is a streamline refinance, but thanks for the info. They said I am locked in at the 4.75 so lets hope that is true! Thanks again!

If they did I would be a very unhappy camper since things have changed with the streamline finance and I would have to go by the new rules!

  5. I have had mine for a year this month. (I think) I have hit the button before and always a "NO". I tried again this month and they doubled my credit line. I have never paid late...sometimes paid only the min. sometimes more and have always carried a balance within 100.00 or $200.00 of the credit line. I guess YMWV. Hope that helps.
  6. Hi, I posted in the other thread about this also. I did the pre approval also last Friday and it said" approved for the Anne Gedes card for $7500.00." I have been turned down by BOA twice in the last 8 months, so I was a little shocked. I recieved my card today along with a mini card. The only difference is I clearly see on privacy guard where they pulled my credit on TU on the day I applied. I don`t know how ya`ll got approved without them pulling but I think thats awesome! The only thing I can figure why they approved now is that they pulled TU which is my best score as half of my trade lines do not show up so my utilization is better. The previous two times I allpied EQ was pulled. My utilization was actually better than it is now. Who knows, not complaining. Good Luck to you all!
  7. Well, I finally see that they pulled TU for me. Have not recieved the card yet but has only been 3 days. I am not sure how people got the card without filling out any app though? After the preapproval screen there was a short app I had to fill out. Mystery I guess. Still surprised they approved after two denials but both other times they pulled Eq and this time they pulled TU. Might have something to do with it, as not all accounts get reported to TU so utilization is better than the other two. Good Luck All.
  8. I saw a different thread on this yesterday and decided to check it out for the heck of it, even though BOA has denied me twice in the last 8 months. My utilization was actually better then and I did not have as many inq`s. I went ahead and it said preapproved for the Anne Gedes card. Went to the next screen and filled out the info and it said, Congrats you are approved for 7500.00 and will recieve your card in 5 days!! I was in shock. Thought about it all day...thinking it was a mistake...why would they approve me now when they wouldn`t before. Went back to the link, clicked it again and put my name and last 4 social and it gave me the same Congrats screen and my credit limit, and card will be sent within 5 days! Don`t understand it myself but not complaining. I can not find where they pulled a hard. Good Luck to everyone else!
  9. I would just like to say that my scores were similair to this posters a while back. I also have no negatives on any of my reports and showed a 10 year history...I just had high utilization. You can not believe how many points can be earned by lowering your utilization. I applied and recieved a few more credit lines which has brought my scores up as my utilization is now right at 50% instead of the 90% it was showing. Unfortunatly, my history is not as long now but will recover over the long run. Just thought I would share.
  10. Must have been their day for CLI`s because I also recieved one from $320.00 to $520.00. Was nice to just see an increase without asking! Congrats everyone!
  11. Hi all! Just my 2 cents for what it is worth. I switched right after I got this card and I did get the 0%....I just couldn`t have the 12 months since it was not the one I applied for. The nice lady I spoke too gave me 0% for 9 months and said if I made 3 purchases before the 9 months was up, it would be extended for another 3 for a total of 12. So, it can be done. Good Luck and Congrats!!
  12. I think quite a few people have gotten that message and were still approved. Good Luck!
  13. Yes, and many have done it and I don`t believe anyone has had a problem doing so. The Citi customer service people are very nice to deal with. The PS has no annual fee and they even let me have the balance transfer offer even though I did not apply for the card in the first place.
  14. I can`t answer about the CLI request, I did not want to push my luck either so I did not ask. I did however convert my card from the AA before activation to the Platnium Select. Very easy. Got the card in the mail, called customer service and said, " I applied for this card as I saw an ad on a web page ( or something like that)...I then went to your web page and saw the various cards you have, I really don`t fly so could I please convert this to the PS and do a balance transfer as I see it is 0% for 9 months". The lady said sure no problem and we went on from there. Very easy and the people very nice. I hope that helps.
  15. Received my AA card yesterday. Called upon activation and asked for the Platium Select instead....presto..no problem!! I am so happy. I have to say that after 11 years with Chase and Bank One neither have ever been as nice as the customer Service people at Citi! (of course just my opinion...and not that they have ever been rude...just not as nice! ). My Citi cards will definately be my choice of cards in the future. Good Luck to everyone else!
