  1. My BK7 falls off my reports in december this year(yay!!!). About 4 month's ago I applied for a zync and was counter offered with the 200 spending limit or the 500 auto pay. I chose the 200 because I had read of people having issues with getting the autopay set up. I did open a prepaid amex debit card about 4 months prior to applying, just for the 25$ gift card So far that 200 spending limit is all amex is willing to extend me, but I am in.

  4. well I got one about 5-6 months ago just for the 25$ gift card deal, but maybe thats why they approved my zync last week with a BK7 that does not fall off until the end of the year.
  5. I just got my first amex(zync), they did a hard pull on all 3
  6. This was from Sterling Savings Bank. I just rescinded the offer on that house and made an offer on a duplex for nearly the same price. This new loan will be a fannie mae HomePath loan so it will be interesting to compare once I get the paperwork.
  7. I tried with amex prepaid, it does not work, you need to have a "real" card to get C$.
  8. Thanks jop3, I seem to have hit a snag though, the house I am attempting to buy is a "bank approved",and "bank approved price" short sale, but the seller made his January payment, evidently he needs to be 31 days delinquent for the bank to approve this offer. Not so bad, but my rate has been locked for 30 days. There is a fee(I do not know how much yet) to extend the locked rate for 30 days. Should I pay the rate extension fee(might have to do it twice) or should I gamble that I may get even a lower rate?

  10. I thought it was odd, but when I applied for membership at Becu, I got a TU hard and a EX soft on the same date from them.
  11. That's strange a bk from 1984 should be long gone from any reports, I got in with a bk from 2002. Expedia score? I am going to assume you mean Equifax. what all did you apply for? just savings or checking as well? I hear they run you through Chexsystems for checking.
  12. edit triger716 has confirmed it is a soft pull
  13. I tried it out, it most definitely is not meant to be used yet, if this site is supposed to go live this monday well somebody has some work to do , but it does work
