I completely agree. I didn't follow instructions. I read and reread and stupidly didn't make the connection that endorsement section=back so I put it on the front. I did send the dispute letter to all 3 CRA's the dispute letter and it came back as verified. The date of service was 10/4/13. Yes I have insurance but have since changed jobs and my login to the insurance company doesn't work so I cannot access the EOB's. I am fairly certain what they say I owe is what I owe though.

Hi WhyChat, I have followed all the steps so far. Opted out, disputed old addresses, sent the initial letter to the CA who replied back with 8 or so pages of hospital transactions. Since they established the relationship between CA and OC (hospital), I sent OC the HIPAA letter with insert A. I sent them a Bank Cashier Check along with the letter. On the BACK of the check it said "for account #1212334" (the OC's account number). On the FRONT I wrote "For Deposit Only to the Account of XXX Hospital" and "Patients Name, account number, address". I know that right now you're probably thinking that I have to be the biggest dufus to grace god's green earth. How could I possibly get this reversed? I don't know, but I am hoping I didn't just waste $317.55 because I switched things around. Will this still work? Or did I mess it up too royally? Thanks WhyChat!

I filed chapter 13 September 2011. Around 2015 I took out student loans for my continued education. In 2016 I received a letter saying they were late and called to let them know I'm still in bankruptcy. Then I pulled my credit report several months later only to show they were all on there showing late. I've sent them a certified letter asking this be updated to not late but received no reply. My bankruptcy was just discharged two months ago. What is my next step?

The Master Equifax & TransUnion B* Bumpage Thread

Wow! You actually had something fall off TU? What services are you using? I finally just gave up and cancelled service after being repeatedly chopped month after month. But if there's a way....count me back in! -
That's great! How long have you had the card?

Thank you all so much!! It is a good feeling to finally see that ever-elusive light at the end of the tunnel. There were many times I didn't think I'd see it. Countless bumps in the road. Things being removed, put back on my reports, and removed again. Many times. Now...time to just sit back and enjoy.....and wait for the last 2 baddies to fall of next year. Thank you all. I look forward to giving back to the community that gave me so much!

Maybe not, since OP's post reads like they were able to ditch that 18% auto loan. Am I right, OP? Correct. We already had a sky high auto payment on my DH, so by changing to a 0% loan the payments went down. Plus the vehicle is 4 years newer! Our mortgage is $50 cheaper than we were paying for rent, so no new payment there. So really, we only picked up just one payment - my car (since the one I totaled was paid off). All in all, not a bad deal. Hmmm, I think I like this "good credit" thing. ;-)

I am a CB success story! I want to thank everyone on here who have taken the time to answer my countless questions. If it weren’t for your knowledge and patience, I would not be out of the hole that I was in this time last year. A couple of months before my Chapter 13 was discharged in May of 2009, I pulled my FAKO through Identity Guard and was appalled to see a score in the high 400’s! Two months later, after discharge I found this board, dropped Lexington Law, and started my own credit repair. Much to my DH’s dismay, I lived and breathed it. I literally spent a couple of hours a day writing letters and reading this board. I wanted our credit cleaned up fast! I was told we would never get a home loan being fresh out of a BK, but I paid those folks no mind as I continued harassing OC’s and CA’s to death. I wrote so many emails and letters that I am sure many of these companies just deleted to get me to leave them alone. We applied for a mortgage in Feb. It was the smoothest process ever. They didn’t even mention or question the BK when they pulled my TU score and found it to be a 717! We breezed through and closed on our first home on Friday 4/30! And if that wasn’t enough, we also went out that same evening (once the ink on the mortgage docs dried) and bought two brand new vehicles. I’d totaled mine just days before and was car-less and my DH had his through Santander (groan) with 18% interest. For the first time, I walked into a dealer and I was in control!! I ran the salesman through a ringer and ended up with 0% for 72 months for both vehicles. When they pulled my credit I was a 720 (3 pts higher than the mortgage pull) and therefore TIER ONE credit (by Toyota’s standards). Wow. Tier 1? Me? I am finally back in control of my finances and so proud. It’s funny, but I am more happy about my 720 score than my new home and new vehicles. That’s how I know that I have finally got the concept of GOOD credit in my head for good. Thanks to all on CB. I look forward to now giving back to the new folks on the board. It’s the least I can do.

Maybe this is a different scenario, but we had a checking account from back in 2008 go to collections. It suddenly appeared on our credit report. I called the Executive Office of the CEO and they agreed to allow me to pay 1/3 of the balance due and they'd consider it settled, provide a letter saying such, and we would then be "in good standing" with B of A. I did this and not even two months later, we were just approved for a mortgage loan through B of A. I would have to assume you can get off the list of you talk to the right person. Or....maybe their mortgage dept is just a different beast. Worth a shot though. You can find the Exec Off's number online.

B* TU Inquiries Reinserted on CR
Future-800-Club-Member replied to GonnaGetEm's topic in Credit Forum
You're right. And here I thought I had dodged a bullet by stopping my CCT daily pulls and just going to do myFico once to check. Totally forgot about that! But hey...until I actually pull CCT I can PRETEND that I haven't had reinsertion at least. -
After totaling my car on Monday, I am now in the market for a vehicle much sooner than anticipated. I visited a local Toyota dealer who asked for my score, I gave him my highest – 690/TU and he said they could for sure 0% for 60 mos with that score. I neglected to mention that I do have a discharged Chap 13 from May of last year. I couldn’t actually have them run my credit yet because I am also closing on a home this Friday, but plan to go back to the dealership on Friday night after we close. Do you think they will take that Chap 13 into account or look at the fact that my score is back up in the “good†range and I have 2 yrs of perfect credit since then? Also, my Experian score just plain stinks. If I were to freeze it today, would that be better or worse than allowing them to see it in all its ingloriousness?
