Wells Fargo Private Loan

I've searched through threads and couldn't find a clear answer do any help you have is much appreciated. I have a private loan with Wells that went bad. I was young and dumb and didn't try and work out arraignments, It's for $1000. I spoke with Wells they said it was sold to a CA. The collection agency has yet to validate and I want Wells to pull it back so I can pay and be rid of them. Wells says they cannot pull it back.

 

Does anyone have a contact of a higher up person so I can get this account off my reports? TIA.

From my understanding if Wells had assigned it then they could pull it back but since they sold it to the CA then Wells is done with this account. Your Wells account should be a zero balance with the notation "account sold" on your credit report.

 

I'd just wait for the DV from the CA and go from there.
