Thanks to this board I found out about the experian trick of disputing items as not mine/similar name and it worked! This was on an old collection that I settled a yr ago and over time dropped off of my TU and EQ but has been derogatory on EX. I disputed this at the beginning of the month and I checked it yesterday and saw that it was deleted, awesome!! I started my clean up process in Feb 2011 with 5/6 derogatories on all 3 CB's. I am now down to only one on all 3 and I am happy with my progress. My Fakos will all be in the 800's and we'll see where my Fico is at next month.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of an old charge off from HSBC? That is my most stubborn one! It shows as paid collection on my TU (still derogatory) and just derogatory on the other 2 CB's. I have disputed it and it always comes back verified and it even shows on my CR's as " Subscriber reports dispute resolved - consumer disagrees.Unpaid balance reported as a loss by credit grantor." CAN ANYONE HELP?

Are you still able to do this with Experian accounts if they have previously been verified? I have some IIB accounts that they won't review because they were previously verified. :/

'tricking' is most commonly considered fraud or the act of defrauding, which is a federal crime.

you need to ensure your reports are accurate, no tricks. please you set yourself up for reinsertion like this.

the credit system is much more complex and this is a public forum where many eyes see, careful, educate yourself

The jack attack method isn't a "trick" You have to find legitimate inaccuracies in the trade line for it to work. My trade line was riddled with errors and was deleted as a result. Thoroughly search creditboards for "Jack Attack" and you will learn how it works and if it will work for you in your situation. Always create a paper trail and keep records in the event it is reinserted.
