Does Amex AR/pull when converting Zync to Platinum?

I'd like to convert my Amex Zync that I've had for about 2 years to a Platinum but I was wondering if Amex would do a hard or soft pull, or no pull at all, when I called to ask to convert? I didn't know if there are different credit standards for the Zync vs. the Plat card.

I'm 99% sure Amex won't do a PC on Zync
