 Hi I'm a newbie, but I have a question

I started to go through the FCRA today after opening a CM with USAA...

I owed my school money from when I attended it, but had no job, and was counting on parents to pay. Making a long story shorter... I have been paying the tution off for the last two years and my last payment will be made in October. But they have been listing on the report that it is 120 days late since Feb 2009. I have been paying since August 2008 and haven't been late. (I have proof of this) Previous to Feb 2009 it was never listed as late.

Can they do this? I tried to complain and the woman there blew me off (not the one I set pmt up with) she said it would be deleted when I finished paying. This school is doing a lot of foolishness because it's also listed that I worked there also they have the same account on my report twice, but one is listed as paid and closed.

It's only on experian and I started to write a letter...should I call again or just threaten legal action?

I don't know who else to talk to at the school, because I would really like both accounts deleted

Tuition is due when you go to school, the semester to attend. You are paying a collection account and thus the entire balance is past due and late. You dont get credit for paying on a collection account. Sounds like they are reporting correctly. If you start putting up more of a fuss, they could potentially report it worse.
