Anyone have experience getting a private loan from NJ HESSA ? My credit score averages about 720 would this be high enough to qualify without a co-signer for a $8000 loan and income of $36,000?

Never heard of them. With your score and as long as your utilization isn't too high, I'd try the Sallie Mae Smart Option Private Loan.

You're only required to make fixed payments of 25.00 a month (regardless of loan amount) while you're in school.

If you get an NJClass Loan from HESAA, it is based off of your income and not your credit. You have to have the income of a family of four at I think the working level or proverty or something like that. If you don't make enough, a parent or friend can be added as a co-borrower to boost your income. These are the loans that I use for school since I can use them with my mom.
