best way to organize s-corp

My buddy and I are going to open another store, right now we each have one of our own. Would it be best to have each one of us as shareholders or have our current corps be the shareholders of the new corporation?

 

Is there any advantages to doing it either way?

I asked because a S corp cant open another Corp. You would be better off starting another corp any way to keep it simple and keep the liabilty within that new corp, just do a 50/50 deal with a one being the President and one being the CEO.
