Hello everyone,

My business is considered to be fairly new (started in 2007, LLC).

I just applied for a Staples Card to see if it was even remotely possible for me to get it and it said that it was unable to process my application at this time. It also gave me a reference number so that I could call to find out why.

Additionally, I wanted to know if (as some have done with personal credit) it was possible to add an established tradeline from an existing business to your own (as an authorized user) to help "build" credit? I hope I'm not asking something that's against any policies here.

I'm still learning. I have a DUNS #, no paydex...was told I would need to buy a package of $500 to do that.

If you guys could help me out a little that would be great!

Have a good one!

Did you call in for staples?

You do not need to pay DnB anything to establish a paydex. You simply need to get a few companies to report...

Tradelines are possible with business credit but its not advisable

DnB can complete wipe your file with no hopes of getting a new file for that corporation. There is no Fear credit act for businesses

so you will have no choice but to start a new corp if getting business credit is what you want to do....

Staples is no longer easy to get and isn't a starter account any more you need to try to get some other net accounts first like quill or some thing like that
