DH and I were looking at a few last year, They are good deals, BUT>> You have to read everything that may be wrong with the house.

 

One house we saw all of the tile was pulled up from the bathrooms, dining and kitchen areas.

Another house there was a plumbing issue Small but an issue, All I know when someone did buy the house the water was turned on, then water was all in the yard.

 

There were also minor stuff, like fences needing repairing. All of it is disclosed and if you do not mind fixing stuff, then it is a great buy. DH and I were bidding and lost and gave up. But we saw some pretty nice homes.

Thanks. I started reading up on these type of homes yesterday. Sounds like a good deal if the house is not in disrepair.
