When do you have to apply for private student loans?

Need to wait till August as that's when I hit 2 years of perfect history which can make or break the application. Is waiting till August to apply for private student loan too late?

It depends on when in August you're referring? With today's technology a loan can be approved, verified w/school, and funded within a few days. I would apply now with a credit worthy co-signer and see what happens. This will allow you the best chance of getting approved with a lower interest rate.

Guess it depends on when you need the money for school...when does school start? It can be done in only a few days

I figured it would be a fast process. At 2 years I should be over 760 FICO.
