Any experience with GC Services. Just got a call from a very rude person and that refused to send me any paper work regarding my loan. I have no recieved anything from them at all. They stated they have started the ball rolling on wage garnishment, have spoken with my employer and have all the paper work in place to start that but are giving me one last chance. Again refusing to send any information stating they did in April 2009 but I don't have anything from them.

Do I NEED to work with GC or can I contact the US Dept. of Ed directly to work with them? I have no problem setting up a payment plan I just don't want to give my stuff over the phone to a CA who won't give me any further information ...

FYI ... I don't work and haven't worked in over 2 years so I know they are pulling scare tactics on me in some form with the wage garnishment threat. Who the heck could the have talked to ... rolleyes.gif

You need to work with them, but call the DOE ASAP and get the name of the liaison an the CA... each CA that works with DOE has to have one and DOE will give you their name and direct dial. If that doesn't work, call the DOE back and lodge a complaint. You will want to set up rehab ASAP.
