The first delete happened just by opting out then disputing with the CRAs, it was way too easy. This latest account was not hard but a little bit of work. It was for a paid collections. My insurance was a PPO and only paid part of the ambo ride and then they sent the bill to the wrong address then to a CA. The CA found my correct address with no problem and I promptly paid.

When I saw it on my credit I disputed w/CRAs and all verified. I called then and told then what happened and they gave me another number to call. The lady in charge said, "put it in writing and I will delete it". So I did...a month goes by no delete, I call again, she promised to do it today and send me a copy of the letter. Waited 10 days, still no delete. I faxed the same letter directly to her yesterday, today it's deleted!!!

Now one left and it's a big one. Sometimes this process is very frustrating but getting little victories like today gives me the energy to keep going.
