Hello,

 

I want to start an internet ( not tupperware more like hotel reservations) company. I want to do this out of my home, as I need to make sure it takes off before investing in a office. However, I need info on this D and B thingy, also EIN....yes my credit is in the ..clears throat due to my son being very ill without insurance the hospital charges you 125.00 for a bandaid...no I am not kidding. So I would like to obtain a grant for a small business woman owned type business. Do I have to have a 411 to get this? Also is it going to hurt me know I am working out of the apartment. Credit is such a catch 22, and sometimes i feel looking at this everyone has fico scores in the 550 and above.

So sorry to hear of your troubles with your son. I hope he's doing OK.

 

Use the step by step thread to do things in sequence. First form your company, the take one step at a time, EIN (from the IRS website), get a D&B number for applying for a government grant.

 

First thing is to form a company, though. Do one thing at a time, and ask questions as you go. At least that's what I'm doing.

 

As far as little old lady, ummmmm I hold that position here also. :wink:
