Sallie Mae slow pay removal

I need some advice that has to do with Sallie Mae. Last year I got behind on my payments that extended past 90 days. Now I have a negitive remark on my credit report due to this. The account was paid in full last Nov. Is there any way to get them to remove the slow pay from my credit report. Thank you for any help.

The student loan experts will give more definitive advice but law requires accurate reporting. You (at least to my knowledge) can't expect to simply dispute the lates away or ask for goodwill. If you dispute then most likely the tradeline (TL) will come back verified.
