I'll try to be short on this. I went to a pain clinic for my back. I did receive some shots and they showed me a back belt and a TENS unit. They said I will be getting these after they confirm w/ my ins. company. I did get the 2 things about 1 1/2 months later. I checked my insurance billing online and the equipment provider billed them $1976.00, of which I'm responsible for $660. I sent documentation that proves that these 2 things would cost me a max of $120.00 if I went out and bought them. I mailed a letter of protest, along with this documentation to my ins. company, the supplier and my doctor. Everyone now is saying....That's what it cost and too bad. I am in complete disbelief that my insurance couldn't care less about a $1850 overcharge and that I am now stuck paying $660 for crap that's worth $120. What can I do?
