I disputed with Experian a studen loan that was being reported twice--one TL with OC Brazos and the second TL TX Guaranteed Student Loan.

TX Guaranteed status (prior dispute) paid, closed/collection account--this was paid via garnished income tax return, BUT this one was deleted anyways

on the other hand, Brazos the original creditor (i only had one SL for $2465) remained on my CR, but they updated information and the updated info is wrong.

Status: Claim filed with government/account charged off (status before dispute)

Changed to

Status: claim filed with government/past due 180 days (this is obviously wrong b/c it has been paid)

BUT STATUS DETAILS: this account is scheduled to continue on record until April 2008.

SOoooooooooooo, do i let it fall off in April 2008 since only a couple months away or dispute now to get off sooner and if so, how do i dispute?

thanks for the help CB helpers, i hope this is not too confusing!

This was your final status.....this is correct reporting.
