Student Loans paid

My salary was garnished for student loans. I am finished paying for it. I am back in school and there is a hold. I recieved a letter from Federal Student Loan saying my balance was $10,896.56 was completed on 12/12/2006. I disputed with Diversified Collection Service and received a letter stating that i still owe them $462.93 - , $346.69 in unpaid principal and $26.64 interest.

 

Please direct my steps. I was so excited now i've received this letter.

If the DOE says there is a balance, you must pay it.

Thanks for the reply. The letter is from the collections agency. Why was I be released and sent a letter from the loan dept saying paid in full 12/06 - but now they want additonal $500.00 plus. Any quess?
