Ok here goes. I defaulted on a SL in 2000. That loan was from ACS/Suntrust who got paid by the guarantor (CA Student Aid) in 2002. I consolidated the defaulted loans in 2003 and haven't missed a payment since. In Sept of this year I noticed the ACS Suntrust loan was showing a balance of $952 so I called them to correct it. Note that this line was showing only on my EX report. They told me it would be taken care of. I check my credit a week or 2 later and they fixed it...and added a bunch of 120 day lates for 2007!!! I call them a few more times and they don't fix it so I disputed it w/ EX last week. The tradeline was removed from my CR so of course I was happy.......until today.

I checked my credit a few minutes ago and apparently they have moved those 120 day lates from 2001 to my never missed a payment consolidation loan that shows as opened in 2003!!! And they put them on my TU this time. This is unbelievable. What should I do next?

Defaulted student loans from the OC/servicer will show multiple lates as the final status ...this is due to the default. Since the default claim was paid in 2002, it will continue to report until 2009.
