Got my coupon book from Sallie Mae! No longer in default!!!

I've never been so glad to see a coupon book in my life! And of course the office is closed for the weekend and I have questions.

 

The letters from USFunds and Sallie Mae are dated 8-30-07. Of course, 8-30 was when my rehab debits from my checking account, and 8-31 is my paycheck with my garnishment. Both were deducted. Will USFunds transfer them to Sallie Mae? How long does the garnishment/rehab payment take to stop? Because MY next payment is Oct. 1, and if they garnish me again Sept. 15....well, let's just say it won't be pretty.

 

 

Oh, and does anyone know how long it'll take my credit report to update??

Yes, the funds will be tranferred to SM.

 

Updates to your CR can take up to 90 days. They are allowed this by law.

 

Call the CA or whoever was handling your garnishment to make sure they have contacted your employer.
