Does anyone know how I can find out the actual price per share I would receive if I cashed out a money market portfolio? I looked it up on NASDAQ and it lists the cureent ask price at $45.00. Is that what it would go for? I tried adding it to my portfolio, thinking I could track it this way, but it only shows the standard $1. The only information I currently have is the number of shares and the name of the portfolio. Anyone know a website? Thanks.

The 'ask' price is what you would have to pay to buy the stock. If you're selling the stock, the 'bid' price is what you recieve. Since your money market should be very liquid, the difference between the bid and the ask will be negligable, a penny or two perhaps. But the only time you can get a real quote is during trading hours, 9:30am-4:00pm M-F. Multiply your # of shares times the bid price during trading hours, that tells you what its liquid value is at that very moment.
