I had a medical bill validated. It is the co-pay balance of $160.00. I do owe it. It is from 2003. In Florida, it can remain on my CR for 7 years. I would like to pay it but I want the CA to remove it from my CR - not just report it as paid. Is there a letter I can send them requesting that they remove it if I pay it in full? they verbally indicated that they would remove it, but refused to put it in writing. What should I do? Thank you for your response.
