I have only ever had 2 student loans. They started out with EFS. They were eventually transferred to NelNet.

NelNet is reporting the same Lates (Oct. 02, Sept. 02, and Aug. 02) as EFS, so it looks like I have DOUBLE the late payments.

So basically, it looks like I have FOUR student loans, with double the lates, than I really have. The entries are exactly the same for NelNet and EFS, just with different Company names...all of the dates are the same.

Is this "Right" or can I dispute this?? I know Student loans are tough to dispute, and honestly, I don't deny the lates, but not DOUBLE the amount!!!

TIA!

Sounds like an overlap from when EFS merged into Nelnet. Dispute the EFS lates as duplicate. Or send the report to Nelnet and let them fix it.
