Do they still have to validate???

I have a garnishment from a collection agency for a studen loan, do they still have to validate the debt even though they are already getting payment....automatically? Its almost paid off, but the balance is bugging me, i know i should have done this along time ago, but i just didnt know about it until a month or so ago.

They will validate but it wont stop the garnishment.

 

When it comes to the balance, simply call the CA and ask for a payment history from the client. It will show the interest and collection fees and the payments made.

i didnt expect it to stop the garnishment, i just want a total of all fees/pmnts/interest etc....Its not on my credit report so i dont want to mess with the process, only a few more payments to go! Ill give them a call tmrw and get the payment history etc.....
