Update on my Visa dispute awhile back

I am not sure exactly what happened, but 2 days ago we went back to the mall in the other county where I had the incident with a minimum purchase and they no longer had any sign stating a minimum purchase was required for visa/mastercard. Their flyers (menu) that had previously stated the minimum also had it gone.

 

I didn't ask them but i'm guessing they either axed it or stopped advertising it.

 

So I suppose these complaints do work some of the time!

They likely ended up with Visa warning them that they'd face big fines -- or they may have just been fined... and that taught them a lesson about following the contract they signed.
