Another question about Sallie Mae Private Loan

I wrote earlier about my DH inability to pay his Sallie Mae private loan. I have another question, what are his choices regarding a payment plan? As I stated in my other post, he can't really afford the payment of 250 per month. The interest rate was 13% the original loan amount was only 15K. He only has one loan will he be able to consolidate? He doesn't have a bank account to garnish and actually a wage garnishment would equal less than his 250 per month payment. Getting a 2nd job really isn't an option because he doesn't have a car, he car pools. I know things are rough, that is why he filed bankruptcy, to make the calls to his relatives stop. Does anyone know someone at Sallie Mae he can call?

As this is a private loan, he cannot consolidate and he has very few options. I believe in the other thread you were advised that he should contact Sallie Mae; that advice stands and is good. I don't think we can offer much more beyond what you've already been told.
