My son's truck is rapidly dying on him-now he needs a transmission and that'll be more than what it's worth.

My question is, is there a student loan consolidation place where he can also get a small loan in with it for a vehicle?

He only works part time and has a couple other small monthly bills he pays along with his student loan which he is usually late on.

Thanks for any help!

Nope...the Federal government will only insure student loans.

 

When you consolidate student loans, there is no cash out to the studentt...money changes hands only between the guaranty agencies.
