Hi..I am in the rehab program...It should be complete by early spring...I have four loans within the program.

From anyone experience, when the rehab is complete and all the negative information is removed, how much did you fico score increase?

Thanks.

Your Mileage May Vary. Since I was able to get rid of most of the negatives before the rehab was complete, I saw no change in score.

However, the ideal that ALL negative info will be removed is a fallicy. They are only required to remove the default notation from the TLs being reported by whomever is handling your rehab. So, if you're paying a guaranty agency but also have the TLs from the original lender, you may or may not see a change in the TLs from the original lender.

Congrats on almost finishing the program, and best of luck to you in the future.

The ones that are reporting is the ones thru the rehab. The org lender loans are removed.

so based on your response, the rehab tl will be cleared up after the completion of the rehab program.

thanks again

No, not necessarily; that's not exactly what I said. I said that they are ONLY required to remove the default notation. If there are lates there, they aren't REQUIRED to remove them. You'll have to wait & see what happens when you're done with rehab.

So if I have loans from the early 90s that have since been sold, they won't ever come off? Or will they eventually come off? This has really been bothering me, most of my TLs are student loans and all except four have been transferred.
